Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sage ("Sage," "we," "us," or "our"), a personal AI assistant delivered over SMS text messaging at sage.connectingaura.net. By signing up for or using Sage, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Sage.

1. The service

Sage is an AI-powered assistant you interact with by text message. Sage can set reminders and recurring events, send scheduled Bible verses and motivational quotes, send email from an inbox you connect (only after you confirm), remember facts you ask it to remember, and answer general assistant-style questions. Sage is powered by Google's Gemini, with live web answers via Perplexity. Your mobile phone number is your account identifier — there is no separate login, username, or password.

2. SMS program terms

When you provide your mobile number and check the consent box at signup, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from the Sage program. This includes a welcome message, AI assistant replies to your messages, reminders, recurring events, and any daily or scheduled Bible verses or quotes you set up.

  • Program name: Sage.
  • Message frequency: recurring; frequency varies based on your usage and the reminders or scheduled content you create.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Sage does not charge for the text messages themselves; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply. See Section 4 for subscription pricing.
  • To opt out: reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, or OPTOUT at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive a single confirmation and then no further messages.
  • For help: Reply HELP for help, at any time, or email sthor@connectingaura.net.
  • Carrier disclaimer: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

STOP and HELP always work — including during your free trial and regardless of subscription status. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and the authorized user or owner of the mobile number you provide. You agree to provide your own, accurate phone number and not to enroll a number you are not permitted to use.

4. Free trial, pricing & billing

Your first 10 assistant messages are free. An "assistant message" is an inbound message from you that receives an AI reply. Reminders, scheduled verses and quotes, and STOP/HELP/CONFIRM responses do not count toward this limit.

After your 10 free messages, continued use requires a subscription of $49.99 per month (USD), billed via Stripe. When you reach the free limit, Sage sends you a secure checkout link in the text thread. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. We may change pricing with prior notice; changes will not affect your current billing period.

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP or by contacting support. On cancellation, you retain access through the end of your current paid period; we do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law.

5. Connecting an inbox & sending email

If you choose to connect an email inbox, Sage can draft email on your behalf. Sage will never send an email until you explicitly reply CONFIRM to the draft. You are responsible for the content of any email you confirm. You can disconnect your inbox at any time. We store the access credentials securely and use them solely to send email you authorize.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sage to:

  • Violate any law or the rights of others, or send unlawful or harassing content.
  • Request or generate content prohibited on carrier networks, including content involving sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, or tobacco (the carrier "SHAFT" categories). Sage will decline such requests.
  • Send spam, bulk, or unsolicited messages to others.
  • Impersonate any person, or enroll a phone number you do not control.
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.

7. AI output & no professional advice

Sage uses artificial intelligence and may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Sage is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing Sage says constitutes legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice — consult a licensed professional for those matters. You are responsible for verifying important information before relying on it.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Sage reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Message delivery depends on third parties (carriers, our messaging provider, and the AI provider) outside our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Sage is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or USD $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Your continued use of Sage after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
